This only applies to application using MediaPaaS V2 as MediaProvider.

Remote	Remote. Media Stack is provisioned remotely by MediaPaaS.
Self	Local. Media Stack is hosted by the application locally and negotiations are handled by MediaPaaS reaching out to application's selfhost media stack.
